The Motor City Lyric Opera Presents:

The Billy Goats Gruff Fairy Tale which we offer in narration form. We have found it helpful to have students become more familiar with the fairy tale before experiencing it as an opera. At the end of the narration we offer tools for the children to assist them if they are confronted by a bully.
The Billy Goats Gruff Fairy Tale presented as an opera. This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce the extraordinary art form of opera to young children while addressing the epidemic of bullying. Following the opera we offer tools for the children to assist them if they are confronted by a bully.
Finally there is a student survey for the children to participate in. In the past we have suggested that the students provide drawings of their experiences with our opera. It is another sensory activity that solidifies their encountered with this art form. The surveys and drawings can be emailed to us at themotorcitylyricopera@gmail.com or through our website.
